LIBERATORS RESPONSE TO COVID-19

What Liberation Church is doing:

  • PRAYING - We are praying daily for wisdom, guidance, healing, protection and God's intervention. We believe that God is sovereign, that He loves and cares for everyone, and that He has established recovery and restoration for us all.

  • STAYING INFORMEDWe are staying up-to-date on how COVID-19 is affecting our neighborhoods, city, state, country, and world. Through credible sources we are informed on how to prevent the spread of this virus and are using best practices at Liberation Church.

  • LISTENING - We are listening to the voice of God as well as the voices and cries of our neighbors. We are not only praying for our neighbors, but we are actively seeking ways to serve and support our neighbors.

What you can do to help:

  • PRAY Pray for our community and those directly affected by COVID-19. Pray for health care workers, first responders, and those in leadership making difficult decisions. Pray that God would protect our community from further spread of the virus. You are welcome to join our daily prayer sessions.

  • BE GENEROUSWhile our world is anxiously protecting themselves, let’s live like Jesus and be generous during this time. Buy someone else’s groceries or other household necessities, give a neighbor some toilet paper, give sacrificially. Liberation Church has set up an option through mobile giving that will be used specifically to support those directly affected by COVID-19.

  • PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENEWash your hands frequently, stay home if you are sick, and cover your coughs or sneezes with a tissue.
